Business Task 2... COCA COLA.

Coca Cola is a huge drinking factory which is sold around over 200 countries, the company sells drinks from fizzy to still drink. However to make all these products Coca Cola would need a factory to create the products, e.g. the plastic bottles. They would also need Human Resources and the departments to create the idea of the drink, if it would sell well, and the number of employers working at the company.

Coca Cola needs a factory to make their products and design their creation. So to create the products they need machines to make the products. Factories are based everywhere around the world to create the products in the factories. The factories contain machine because it would be easier and quicker to make the products and that's way its important that a big company, like Coca Cola has a factory. The factories around the world, are to be similar to each other, this is because it would be cheaper to build the factory which would be the same. As there are more machines, there would be very advanced staff only there to support, the staff would .

There are many departments/areas in the Coca Cola building; ICT,Human Resources, Production, Marketing and Finance. ICT departments are the technology that makes the production on the computer, emailing any of the staff in the departments or for the Human Resources to keep the records on. The Human Resources departments would have to keep records of each employers and would need to in contact of the employers of there backgrounds. Production department would be creating of the products, by putting ideas together and the making of the products. The Marketing is about dealing with the prices of the products, the promotion (advertising), place of where the products would be sold, and the product itself - whether it is good enough to be sold. The Finance is to know how much products have been sold. The important departments of Coca Cola are the ICT,Marketing and the Production, the reason for this is because ICT can create the imagery of the product and then it goes to the production which then creates the product, which marketing advertise the product to the customers for them to buy.

In the Coca Cola business there would be a facilities room to discuss the maintains of the design and giving ideas towards the products. The facilities room would be, meeting rooms, office room/space and staff room for the employees/employers to take a break in. From the factories the bulks of products would be stored in a warehouse, where the shops/ markets would buy the products. The warehouse's stockroom would be a high room stacked to capacity, this means the storeroom would be higher enough for the bulks to be stack one after the other. The capacity of the room would be a good thing because it would not be wasting any money to build another room.

For the customers to buy the coca cola products, it would be selling in shops. This would help the Coca Cola company of how much the shop is selling the products. All the shops and supermarkets have Coca Cola brands/products selling in their shops because the product is one of the popular drinks.
Coca Cola is a known drinking product around the world, and the product has been out for a very long time. Most people then want to explore the backgrounds of Coca Cola, e.g. who brought up the idea of Coca Cola. Therefore Coca Cola has got a museum for the tourist/explorers, as they would want to know all about the the invention of Coca Cola. The company also gains profit is by the gift shops or souvenirs for the tourist/explorers. As Coca Cola is first sales was in Atlanta, Georgia - where the museum would be.

The technological base is used a lot in the factories, Human Resources (HR) departments, warehouses and shops. The factories contain machines to create the drinks, the outer products (glass, plastic, aluminium - for the bottle base). This making of the products takes place in Plants - where the manufacturing process takes place.

The HR has technology as they would need to keep in date of the staff and the business itself. As the HR keeps a record of the staff on the computer and just keep updating it.
The warehouses and the shops has technology to scan the products to let the company know how much the products has been bought and if the shop/warehouse is out of products.

Coca Cola is a famous drink brand around the world, and most countries would have a factory base of Coca Cola. Around the world the Coca Cola factories and facilities would been similar because its saving money. The reason for the business to have similar buildings is because it is saving money, with the extra money the staff of Coca Cola can create other brands or having different bottles/cans.

In the factories the workers there have to look upon the machines to see if its working fine and nothing wrong with it, by having this is a good thing because it the workers can tell the mechanics of what has gone wrong.
If the business does not use machinery, then the creating would slow down process of making the products, and it would take a long time to sell the products. Also if the business does not do physical work then it would again slow down the making.
Humanly, I would feel disappointed if Coca Cola does not use technology or physical because the company has very good products and if it takes a lot of time to create them, then most people would stop buying the products, not enough products would be selling in stores. Also in the factory and everywhere in the buildings, there are safety hazards to show to the employees and employers to be aware of, and  fire emergency equipment, for the employees and employers safety concerns.
The technology in the company helps company to speed the process of the work shop/factories.

In Coca Cola the physical resources are needed within the business because the physical resources mainly happened by the employers who are working there. The employers need to be motivated to do the work. Things that can make the workers motivated are; a staff room for the workers to relax in, getting a bonus or promotion. If the workers wont get any of the special bonuses or a place to relax in then the workers would get demotivated, this would mean that the business would start to lack in the physical resources, and the business would lose sales and profit. Also the marketing ideas wont come plan because the workers wont do the work. For the physical resources the motivation towards the workers are important, to get Coca Cola in good business.

For Human Resources (HR) to have an impact within the business, the stuff working there would need to be motivated for coca cola to be productive. For the stuff working at Coca Cola for them needed to be motivate they could either get a promotion, extra bonus, free samples of the products and this will boost their motivation. The HR would have a the head of HR or the manager, for the employees to talk to if there is any problem, then the employees could talk to the manager because they are experienced and also specialist. In the Coca Cola company there would be lots of workers there, to make the Coca Cola company more efficient, the workers would have to be skilled and would know what they have to do, e.g. For an Administrator they would have to know have to be organised, have good communication to talk to others. To improve the performances of Coca Cola, the employers would have to be efficient, the more efficient they are the better Coca Cola will perform. Coca Cola uses specialist distribution company to distribute their products to others companies, here's an example; from the factory to the warehouses, to the shop/supermarkets. To get the products to warehouses or shops, the Coca Cola would need to have a truck delivery to get the products to places. Coca Cola has a personal lorry driver called the Eddie Stobart.

Eddie Stobart is a specialist delivery company, they are experienced this would mean that they would keep on focus on the delivering, because they are experienced they would be more reliable. The Coca Cola company are very efficient and would want the trucking business to focus on delivering, also the Eddie Stobart would advertise the Coca Cola logo, which would help to gain publicity.

The Physical Resources of Coca Cola would be factories, warehouses and the machinery they use to create the products. Coca Cola factory materials are made from, plastic, aluminium, for the bottles and cans. Coca Cola recycles the materials because it would save money for the company (cheaper) and as they recycle it helps the environment. The warehouses would stock the products then from the warehouses it would go to the shops.
